“This song was written over the course of 3 days in sessions of prayer & spending time with the word. God kept bringing me back to what true obedience looks like: Jesus praying in the garden of Gethsemane. Repentance (in Greek, meaning “complete changing of the mind”) and being still in God (in Hebrew, meaning “to be weak, to let go, to release”) is what we are asked of by Jesus by his actions in Gethsemane—Gethsemane itself meaning “oil-press” in Hebrew. God is the oil-press, and when we are walking in obedience, we are just His precious oil, anointing those we love.” — @oilpressworship
